The CP-AOCDP/UF-98 is a DisplayPort 1.4 active optical cable designed to deliver high-resolution video and multichannel audio over extended distances. It provides a compact plenum-rated solution that preserves signal integrity for digital signage, boardrooms, and production environments. The cable is thin and flexible, enabling easier routing in conduit and ceiling plenums.
Key features include support for 8K@60Hz, HBR3 link rates, DSC compression, and essential DisplayPort protocols such as HDCP and EDID. The cable supports 3D formats and up to 32.4 Gbps total bandwidth, enabling high-resolution frame rates and deep color depths. Its active optical design eliminates the need for external power or repeaters on typical runs.
Performance specifications include an HBR3 per-lane rate of 8.1 Gbps and a combined bandwidth of up to 32.4 Gbps. Audio support covers up to 8 channels of linear PCM at 16- or 24-bit depth and sampling rates from 32 to 192 kHz. Connectivity is provided via standard DisplayPort connectors at both ends and the cable is powered through the DisplayPort interface so no external power supply is required.
