The CP-AOCDP/UF-33 is a 10m/33ft DisplayPort 1.4 active optical cable designed to deliver high-resolution video and multi-channel audio over long distances. It provides native DisplayPort connectivity while minimizing signal loss and electromagnetic interference. The cable is plenum rated for use in air-handling spaces and meets industry safety standards.
The cable supports 8K@60Hz and the latest DisplayPort features including HBR3 and DSC to maintain image fidelity. It carries HDCP, EDID and 3D signaling and supports up to 32.4Gbps aggregate data rates. The active optical design eliminates the need for external power or intermediate extenders for long runs.
Performance specifications include an 8.1Gbps per lane HBR3 link rate and an aggregate bandwidth of up to 32.4Gbps. The cable supports up to 8 channels of linear PCM audio at 16 or 24 bits and sample rates from 32 to 192KHz. The thin 4.8mm diameter construction reduces cable bulk while preserving optical throughput.
Connectivity is via standard DisplayPort connectors on both ends and the cable draws power through the DisplayPort interface so no separate power supply is required. The active electronics are contained within the cable ends, preserving compatibility with existing DisplayPort sources and sinks. The cable is compatible with devices that support DisplayPort 1.4 signaling and HDCP content protection.
Typical applications include boardroom AV links, digital signage distribution, broadcast monitoring, and AV racks where plenum-rated cabling is required.
