Description
The CM1001d-T is a 10 inch in-ceiling subwoofer designed to extend low-frequency response in installed audio systems. It combines a polypropylene 10 inch woofer and butyl rubber surround in a tuned and ported enclosure to deliver deep bass and high SPL. The enclosure and porting are optimized to provide a focused low-frequency output across the operating bandwidth.
Key features include a large 10 inch polypropylene cone, oversized tuned enclosure and flared port to maximize efficiency and low-end punch. The built-in five-position tap switch supports 25V / 70.7V / 100V distributed systems plus a transformer bypass position. The grille and baffle are integrated for durable, unobtrusive ceiling installation.
Performance specifications include a nominal impedance of 4 ohm, sensitivity of 92.0 dB @ 2.83 V/1 m and an on-axis maximum SPL of 111 dB. Frequency response is rated at 55 Hz – 118 Hz (-3 dB) and 41 Hz – 224 Hz (-10 dB). Power handling is 150 W RMS continuous with 300 W max program power and a 100 Hz crossover point implemented as a 6 dB per octave low-pass filter.
Connectivity is provided via a four-pin 5.08 mm Euroblock that supports individual or daisy-chain wiring. The CM1001d-T ships with a color-coded tile bridge and restraint cable to simplify installation in both sheetrock and drop-tile ceilings. The mounting system uses fixed wings and a full-metal tile bridge to secure the loudspeaker in ceiling thicknesses from 6.4 mm to 48.5 mm.
This in-ceiling subwoofer is suitable for background music reinforcement, distributed audio in restaurants or retail, and supplemental low-frequency reinforcement in conference rooms. Its tuned 12.9 liter steel backcan and porting deliver tight bass response that integrates with ceiling or on-wall loudspeakers. The 111 dB SPL capability ensures SPL headroom for program material while maintaining low distortion at moderate levels.
Installation is rapid and reliable thanks to the constant-tension fixed-wing mounting mechanism, UL-rated cover plate and tool-free grille strap. The product is UL 1480 and 2043 approved and CE marked for EMC directives, providing compliance for commercial installations.
