The CM1001d-T is a 10 inch blind-mount in-ceiling subwoofer engineered to deliver extended low-frequency output and high SPL in ceiling-mounted installations. It uses a ported enclosure and a polypropylene cone with a butyl rubber surround to reproduce low frequencies accurately and reliably. The enclosure is oversized and tuned with a flared port to maximize acoustic efficiency and output.
Key features include a 10 inch polypropylene low-frequency driver, a 35 mm voice coil, and a SoundTube-specific 12.9 liter steel DeepCan backcan that provides robust bass response. The design creates an accentuated 70 Hz response peak and a maximum SPL of 111 dB to enhance perceived bass without excessive amplifier load. The unit supports 150 W continuous RMS power and 300 W program power for dynamic program material.
Measured performance includes a nominal impedance of 4 ohm and sensitivity of 92.0 dB at 2.83 V/1 m (89.0 dB at 1 W/1 m). The nominal passband is 55 Hz to 118 Hz at -3 dB and 41 Hz to 224 Hz at -10 dB, with a low-pass 1st order filter at 6 dB per octave and a crossover frequency of 100 Hz. Connectivity is provided via a four-pin 5.08 mm Euroblock for individual or daisy-chain wiring and a five-position tap switch for 25 / 70.7 / 100 volt line operation plus a transformer bypass position. The driver is mounted on an ABS baffle with a powder-coated steel grille for durability in commercial environments. The product holds UL 1480 (UEAY) and 2043 approvals and meets CE and RoHS requirements for regulatory compliance.
