The CE611 is a compact HDBaseT USB DVI KVM extender kit designed to extend DVI video, stereo audio, USB 2.0 and RS-232 control over a single Cat6 / Cat6a cable up to 330ft/100m. It pairs a transmitter and receiver to deliver remote console access while preserving video and peripheral responsiveness. The product is intended for installations that require a direct KVM link with simplified cabling and reliable signal integrity.
The extender supports full DVI-D video up to 1920 x 1200 at 100m and provides USB 2.0 full-speed ports for keyboard, mouse and peripheral connectivity. It also supports individual 2-channel stereo audio and a serial RS-232 channel for remote device control. HDBaseT signal error detection and correction improve transmission resilience in electrically noisy environments.
Performance includes support for 1920 x 1200 @ 100m over Cat6 / Cat6a and 1920 x 1080 @ 100m over Cat5e/6/6a with low latency video pass-through. The kit provides built-in ESD protection rated at 8KV contact and 15KV air to protect interfaces. Power consumption is low at DC5V: 2.494W (transmitter) and DC5V: 4.816W (receiver).
Connectivity consists of DVI-D, USB Type B on the transmitter and dual USB Type A on the receiver, RJ-45 unit-to-unit port, stereo mini jacks for mic and speaker, and DB-9 RS-232 connectors. The single Cat6 / Cat6a cable carries video, audio, USB and RS-232 making wiring straightforward. LED indicators provide power, link and video output status for quick diagnostics.
Typical applications include control rooms, transportation centers, medical workstations and industrial environments where remote consoles are required. The CE611 supports console extension for kiosks, signage controllers and remote operator stations. Its compact metal housing and secure DC locking jacks make it suitable for rack or desk mount adjacency.
Installation is simplified by plug-and-play operation, a single cable run, and slide switches for firmware upgrades. The units operate within 0 to 40 degrees C and store safely between -20 to 60 degrees C, with humidity tolerance up to 80 percent non-condensing. The metal enclosure and status LEDs support long-term reliability and straightforward troubleshooting.
