The CCS-PRO8 is a hardware KVM switch that enables a single keyboard and mouse to control up to eight computers. It provides seamless desktop-style control by allowing the pointer to move across displays to select target systems. The unit also integrates local audio mixing so operators can manage multiple audio sources from one console.
Free-Flow mouse switching lets users jump between systems simply by moving the cursor across screen borders – selection is immediate and intuitive. The switch supports audio mixing so users can nominate single or multiple computer audio sources to hear concurrently. True USB Emulation preserves full keyboard and mouse functionality including extra keys, wheels and buttons while switching instantly.
Technically the CCS-PRO8 connects to each host via USB2.0 Type B and accepts up to four 3.5mm audio inputs per computer connection. Console outputs include one 3.5mm audio out and enumerated USB Type A ports for non-HID devices. Multi-monitor Free-Flow is supported for up to eight monitors per computer when the target system has the Adder driver installed on Windows.
Connectivity options include hotkeys, mouse clicks, Ethernet and RS232 control and an open API for third-party integration. Redundant power is provided via dual power inlets for mission-critical installations. The unit offers keep-alive settings to prevent selected hosts from sleeping while not actively controlled.
Typical applications include broadcast control rooms, command and control suites and multi-system operator desks where rapid context switching and mixed audio sources are required. Operators benefit from reduced desk clutter and faster input switching compared to separate peripherals per computer. The CCS-PRO8 also supports integration with expansion modules such as the CCS-XB8 screen illumination kit for visual screen identification.
Installation is straightforward – rack or desk placement uses the robust metal chassis and standard cabling for USB and audio connections. Firmware and Free-Flow configuration utilities are available for Windows to assist setup and updates. Air shipments, Overnight, 2nd day and 3 day select methods offer guaranteed delivery time for your shipment. If you are in hurry or in need for the items on schedule, select one of these methods.
