The Cherry Bomb Galaxy is a weatherized bollard-style in-ground speaker engineered to deliver full-range outdoor sound in a compact footprint. It integrates a band-pass subwoofer, midrange driver and tweeter in a single sealed cabinet to provide coherent audio across the spectrum. This speaker is designed to be direct-burial capable and maintain reliable performance in exposed environments.
Its patented three-way design combines a 5.25 inch double-chamber band-pass subwoofer, a 4.5 inch woofer and a 0.75 inch titanium dome tweeter into one enclosure. Phase-matched technology ensures smoother crossover transitions and consistent coverage across the listening area. The rotary tap switch supports 70.7 V / 100 V operation plus an 8 ohm bypass for flexible system configurations.
Performance specifications include a sensitivity of 84 dB and a frequency response that extends to 38 Hz at -10 dB and to 22 kHz at the upper end. Maximum continuous RMS power is 64 W and program power is 128 W while maximum SPL at 1 meter reaches 101 dB. The nominal impedance is 8 ohms which supports common residential and commercial amplifiers.
Connectivity is via wire leads for direct integration with distributed audio systems and standard amplifiers. The unit is fully weatherized, has an IP65 ingress protection rating and includes a powder-coated aluminum grille for long-term outdoor resistance. Included accessories such as a cover plate and wire nuts simplify electrical connections and finishing.
