The CAM-0402-NDI-BRG is a compact 4K multi-camera video bridge designed to simplify live switching and distribution. It mixes local HDMI and USB camera sources with network NDI streams to produce a single unified output. The device appears as a standard UVC webcam for immediate compatibility with conferencing and streaming platforms.
The bridge accepts up to eight sources – 2 HDMI inputs, 2 USB 3.0 UVC cameras and 4 NDI streams – and provides simultaneous USB, HDMI and NDI outputs. Users can select single-source output or a mirrored multiview layout showing up to four feeds on-screen. It supports resolutions up to 3840×2160@30Hz across formats and provides NDI H.264/H.265 handling for efficient network contribution.
Performance features include MJPEG USB input/output for high-resolution webcam capture, NDI video stream support up to 16 Mbps, and HDMI HDCP 2.2 compliance. Video encoding formats include H.264 and H.265 for NDI, and the device handles 8-bit YUV 4:2:0 color on NDI streams. Audio is carried over HDMI and USB as 2-channel PCM at standard sampling rates.
Connectivity is comprehensive – front and rear inputs include USB Type-A and HDMI ports while outputs include USB Type-C, HDMI and an NDI LAN stream. Control options include front-panel buttons, Web GUI, API, RS-232 and LAN control, and an OLED status screen and power LED provide operational feedback. The unit is compatible with Windows 10+ and macOS 10.15+ and presents as UVC/UAC on host systems.
Typical applications include conference rooms, lecture capture, live streaming and small production studios where multiple camera perspectives and networked sources must be combined. The device is useful for recording multi-angle sessions, streaming events, and integrating remote NDI cameras into local workflows. Native Microsoft Teams app integration allows source switching from inside Teams meetings.
Installation is plug-and-play for most AV workflows and includes web-based firmware upgrades for ongoing feature and stability updates. The unit supports adjustable EDID via Web UI and API and offers mounting brackets for rack or surface installation. Built with standard AV control interfaces and a compact chassis, it fits into existing AV racks and media furniture with minimal effort.
