The CAB-USBC-15 is a 15m / 49ft active optical USB-C to C cable engineered to carry video, audio and USB data over long distances. It provides a single-cable connection for USB 3.2 Gen 1 Superspeed data, USB Alt-Mode video and power delivery. This cable removes distance limitations common to copper USB-C cables while preserving signal integrity.
Key features include Superspeed USB 3.2 Gen 1 at up to 5Gbps, Alt-Mode video support and up to 60W power delivery. A screw-lock connector on one end secures the physical connection in fixed installations. The active optical design enables consistent performance over a 15m run without bulky repeaters or extenders.
Video capability supports 1920x1080p at 60Hz and 3840×2160 at 30Hz with 4:4:4 8bit color sampling where supported by source and sink devices. USB data throughput is rated at Superspeed 5Gbps, suitable for USB 3.0 cameras and peripherals. Power delivery is specified at 20V 3A (60W) and the cable passes typical device charging power while in use.
Connectivity is a native USB-C to USB-C interface and supports USB Alt-Mode for video transport in addition to USB data. The cable implements USB Superspeed signaling and standard RGB video formats as signaled over Alt-Mode. The screw-lock connector offers a physical retention method for installed endpoints.
Typical applications include integration with presentation switchers, videobars and USB conferencing peripherals where a clean, long-reach USB-C connection is required. It is well suited to meeting rooms, lecture halls and fixed AV installations that require a single cable for video, audio, data and device power. The cable is designed to work with hosts and displays that support USB Alt-Mode and USB PD.
Installation is straightforward – route the cable through ceilings, walls or raceways and secure the screw-lock connector at the device end for a reliable connection. Air shipments, Overnight, 2nd day and 3 day select methods offer guaranteed delivery time for your shipment. If you are in hurry or in need for the items on schedule, select one of these methods.
