The CAB-UAOC-USBC-10 is a 10 meter USB-C active optical cable engineered for professional AV and broadcast environments. It delivers combined video, data and power over a single USB-C connection and supports modern DP Alt Mode configurations. This product is designed to provide reliable long-reach connectivity where consistent bandwidth and compatibility matter.
This cable features an adaptive dual MCU design that toggles between 2-lane DP1.4 + USB 3.2 and 4-lane DP2.1 + USB 2.0 modes to maximize compatibility across devices. It supports up to 20Gbps data transfer and provides 60W Power Delivery to connected hosts and peripherals. The adaptive mode minimizes handshake failures common with fixed-mode AOCs.
Performance characteristics include support for 8K-capable video bandwidth when operating in the appropriate DP Alt Mode and a 20Gbps data channel for high-speed transfers. Bandwidth options are specified as U3: 10Gbps x 2 + DP1.4 (8.1Gbps x 2) and U2: 480Mbps + DP2.1 (10Gbps x 4). Mechanical specs include a 6.5mm outer diameter, Kevlar filler, TPE jacket, 65mm minimum bend radius and 150N tensile strength.
Connectivity is a USB Type-C male to USB Type-C male interface that supports DP Alt Mode and USB 3.2 host/device interactions. The cable is compatible with laptops, displays, docking stations and conferencing systems that support USB-C DP Alt Mode and PD.
