The 10m HAOC FRL HDMI cable is an active optical HDMI 2.1 cable engineered to deliver uncompressed high-bandwidth AV between source and display. It transmits native HDMI metadata while using optical cores to carry video and audio across long distances. The cable supports current and emerging HDR and high frame-rate formats to protect system investments.
The cable supports up to 48Gbps aggregate bandwidth using a 4-core design rated at 12Gbps per lane. It is compatible with HDMI FRL and TMDS modes and can pass peer-to-peer DSC when required. Variable Refresh Rate, Auto Low Latency Mode, and CEC communication are preserved end-to-end.
Performance specifications include support for 8K60Hz, 5K60Hz, 4K144Hz modes and high-refresh 1080p and 1440p modes as listed in the technical data. End-to-end latency is minimal and the cable supports HDCP 2.3 pass-through plus eARC for high-resolution audio formats. DSC compatibility allows transmission of super-high bandwidth content at reduced link rates when applicable.
Connectivity is native HDMI Type A on both ends with full bidirectional EDID and CEC pass-through. Ethernet at 100Mbps is supported where source and sink provide the capability. The HAOC preserves eARC audio return functionality to enable advanced audio formats from smart TVs or AV receivers.
This cable is suitable for professional AV installs, digital signage, home cinema, and broadcast racks where long HDMI runs and immunity to EMI/RFI are required. It supports HDR-10, HDR-10+, Dolby Vision, HLG, SL-HDR1 and PQ along with BT.2020 and BT.2100 color spaces. The optical medium reduces signal degradation and maintains pixel integrity over longer distances than copper-only cables.
Build quality includes kevlar-reinforced communication cores and low-profile aluminium connector heads for tight routing. The cable is passive in terms of external power and draws required VCC from connected source devices. It ships coiled on a cardboard spool and contains no single-use plastic components.
