The CAB-HAOC-15-P is a 15m/49ft active optical HDMI cable engineered to deliver uncompressed high-bandwidth video and audio over long distances. It preserves full HDMI metadata and system control to maintain native HDMI device communication. The cable is ISF certified and CPR/plenum rated to meet professional installation safety standards.
This HDMI AOC supports up to 24Gbps aggregate bandwidth using a 4-core optical transmission architecture rated at 6Gbps per lane. It carries HDR formats including HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, HLG and SL-HDR1 without compression. Native HDMI features such as ARC, CEC, ALLM and VRR are supported for modern AV and gaming workflows.
Performance highlights include 5K60 4:4:4 10-bit capability at applicable frame rates and full 4K60 4:4:4 10-bit HDR support. The cable operates with extremely low end-to-end latency (10μs) and passes HDCP 2.3 content encryption. The optical construction delivers immunity to electromagnetic and radio frequency interference while maintaining pixel-perfect signal integrity over 15m.
Connectivity is simple: a 19-pin HDMI Type A male TX and a detachable Type A RX head are provided for flexible installation. EDID and HDCP are passed through between endpoints and Ethernet at 100Mbps is supported. The cable is uni-directional – verify signal flow during installation – and supports up to 32 audio channels and audio formats including DTS-X and Dolby Atmos.
Typical applications include residential and commercial home cinema installations, projectors and large-format displays where long HDMI runs are required, and gaming setups that need ALLM and VRR support. It is also suited to environments with high EM or RF noise where copper HDMI would be unreliable. The detachable head option and low-profile TX housing aid integration into tight AV racks or behind displays.
Installation is straightforward with a 2cm max bend radius and a 15kg maximum pull tension rating to protect the fibers.
