The CAB-HAOC-10 is a 10m active optical HDMI 2.0 cable engineered to deliver full-bandwidth digital video and audio across extended distances. It transmits uncompressed 18Gbps HDMI signal and supports next-generation UHD formats including 4K60Hz 4:4:4 and HDR. The cable uses optical transmission to provide immunity to electromagnetic and radio frequency interference.
Key features include active optical conversion, support for HDR formats including Dolby Vision, and compatibility with HDCP 2.2. The cable supports ARC and CEC control channels and preserves multichannel audio formats up to object-based codecs. A compact 20mm head profile and gold-plated alloy connectors improve durability and installation flexibility.
Performance specifications include a maximum pixel clock of 600MHz and zero end-to-end latency. Video capability covers 1920x1080p @60Hz 16bit, 3840x2160p @60Hz 10/12bit HDR 4:2:2, and 4096x2160p @60Hz 8bit 4:4:4 and RGB. Audio support includes 2ch PCM plus LPCM multichannel and formats up to DTS-X and Dolby Atmos.
Connectivity is straightforward with a 19-pin HDMI Type A male connector on each end and native HDMI TMDS signaling. The cable supports HDMI features including EDID, CEC, ARC and Ethernet over HDMI where supported by connected equipment. It is backward compatible with standard HDMI sinks and sources that support HDMI 2.0 feature sets.
Typical applications include point-to-point connections between sources, matrix switchers or splitters and displays in environments where copper cables would be affected by interference. The cable is suitable for digital signage, control rooms, AV racks and installations that require long HDMI runs with full UHD capabilities. Its passive power design draws required power from the connected HDMI source within the supported voltage range.
Installation and build quality emphasize ease of use and longevity – the 20mm head width is friendly for conduit routing and the alloy heads resist mechanical wear. Maximum bend radius and pull tension limits should be observed – 6cm bend radius and 15kg pull tension – to avoid damage.
