The CA-AK1-N conversion adapter enables camera-based power and digital audio for compatible mic adapters. It converts the CA-XLR2d series mic adapter interface to the Nikon multi-accessory hot shoe standard. This allows XLR microphones to interface with supported Nikon cameras without additional audio cables.
The adapter provides cable-free digital audio connections and delivers camera-supplied power to the CA-XLR2d mic adapter. It supports standard XLR microphone adapters designed for the CA-XLR2d family. The unit is compact and intended for field and run-and-gun production workflows.
