The CORIOview C2-6104A is a 1RU 4-window DVI-U processor designed to combine multiple video and computer sources onto a single DVI-I output. It uses four independent CORIO2 scaling engines to provide full picture-in-picture flexibility and still image stores. The unit supports digital and analog DVI-U signals enabling broad source compatibility.
Key features include five DVI-U inputs with the fifth available as a background or cascade input, four user-controllable scalable windows, and four internal still image stores. Each window has independent size, position, zoom and shrink controls, plus color borders and source labeling. The unit also provides chroma keying, luma keying, genlock and mixing for advanced layer control.
Performance supports DVI-D resolutions up to 1920×1200@60Hz and 1080p, analog resolutions to 2048×2048, and motion-adaptive de-interlacing for interlaced sources. Color processing is 24-bit RGB with 20-bit 4:2:2 YCbCr processing and a 162MHz sampling rate. Firmware is flash-upgradeable and settings are stored in non-volatile memory with up to ten user-definable presets.
Connectivity includes DVI-I connectors supporting DVI-D, DVI-A and composite via DVI-U, HD-15 and optional BNC adaptors, plus control via RS-232 / RS-422 / RS-485 D9 and Ethernet RJ45. The unit supports EDID 1.3, HDCP and standard analog sync levels for RGB and YPbPr sources. Cascade capability allows multiple C2-6104A units to expand displayed windows across units.
Typical applications include broadcast monitoring, control room multiviewing, and live event operator displays where multiple sources must be monitored simultaneously. The C2-6104A is suitable for monitoring computer outputs, HD video feeds and legacy analog sources while preserving pixel-level keying accuracy. Its still image stores and source labeling simplify on-air graphics and source identification tasks.
Installation and operation are straightforward using the front-panel LCD and menu system or remote control over Ethernet and serial interfaces. The unit ships in a 1RU rack-mount chassis and runs on a 100-240V AC supply. Built-in presets, autoset sizing and CORIO Tool Suite integration speed setup and day-to-day operation.
