Description
The ATEM Mini Extreme ISO G2 Switcher from Blackmagic Design is an updated 8-input live production switcher for live streaming with an integrated control panel and advanced broadcast features. In addition to live streaming using RTMP protocols, you can also output your program as if it were a webcam over USB. New features include a redesigned keyboard with multiple knob controls, large NKK red/green source select buttons, a hardware fader, a CFexpress slot, and a Thunderbolt port for recording.Updated Control Interface
The ATEM Extreme ISO G2 includes large source select buttons for audio mixing, recording, and streaming control, along with output selection buttons for switching between cameras, program, and multiview. A hardware fader adds tactile control. The rear panel features HDMI inputs, XLR and MADI audio inputs, USB for webcam output, Thunderbolt for recording/playback, and four HDMI outputs for program/preview.
You can stream via Ethernet or use USB-C to output as a webcam compatible with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Skype, Open Broadcaster, XSplit, and more.
M/E Switcher
Switch, add effects, color grade, and key in real time via hardware or software control. CCU control is available for Blackmagic cameras. The switcher supports up to nine layers, including multiple keyers, DVE effects, pattern generators, and color generators. It features four HDMI outputs and supports up to 16-screen multiview.
ISO Output
Record all eight inputs individually as MP4 files plus the program output. A DaVinci Resolve project file is automatically generated for post-editing. Each HDMI input supports up to 1080p60 and includes format conversion and re-syncing for seamless switching.
Thunderbolt for Live Replay
Thunderbolt enables capture, playback, CFexpress access, and power through a single connection. Use DaVinci Resolve for live replay, including multi-camera playback and sequencing with POI (Point of Interest) control.
Stream Live
Ideal for interviews and multi-camera productions. The built-in streaming engine allows direct streaming to YouTube, Facebook, and Twitch via Ethernet without a computer. Simply enter your streaming key and go live.
4G and 5G Phone Support
Connect a phone via USB for mobile data streaming or backup. The switcher automatically switches to mobile data if Ethernet fails and powers the phone simultaneously.
Media Pool
Record all inputs and program feeds simultaneously, including metadata such as timecode and camera numbers. Media pool graphics are saved with recordings, allowing full post-production flexibility.
Compatibility
Compatible with ATEM Advanced Panels, Streaming Bridge, and Camera Control Panels. Configurable via Blackmagic Videohub tools for advanced routing and control.
Recording
Supports direct recording to USB drives or CFexpress cards in H.264 format with AAC audio. Continuous recording is possible using multiple disks. Remote recording control is also supported.
Software Integration
Automatically generates a DaVinci Resolve project for editing. Compatible with ATEM Software Control for audio mixing, macro programming, and media management. Supports HyperDeck control via Ethernet.
Video Effects
Includes professional transitions such as cut, mix, dip, and DVE effects. Adjustable transition durations (0.5 to 2 seconds) allow flexible production styles.
Audio Features
Features XLR inputs for microphones and additional stereo inputs. Includes a Fairlight audio mixer with full control over all audio sources, plus headphone monitoring.
Format Conversion
Each HDMI input has a built-in standards converter supporting 1080p, 1080i, and 720p. Outputs support clean switching, low-latency direct output, and multiview monitoring for all inputs and statuses.
