Monitor your audio with the 1 RU Blackmagic Audio Monitor 12G G3 from Blackmagic Design. Featuring a dual-subwoofer design with extra wide-range speakers, the audio monitor is equipped with Class-D amplifiers. The upgraded G3 version supports the new SMPTE 2110 input for improved broadcast integration. Install the Blackmagic Audio Monitor 12G G3 in broadcast racks, audio decks, video servers, and live transmissions. With the push of a button, you can switch between stereo pairs of the 12G-SDI input, making it ideal for monitoring alternative language tracks. Powerful and Loud
The dual-subwoofer design provides a wide and smooth frequency response with crisp highs and powerful deep bass. The monitor is loud enough to hear audio in noisy environments, such as broadcast equipment rooms with active cooling fans.

Precision Metering
Front panel audio level meters feature multicolored RGB LEDs under each segment. Select between VU, PPM, or loudness scales with EBU or BBC options. Monitor a wide dynamic range from -20 to +18 dB depending on scale. Loudness can be measured using standard, K-weighted, or LKFS metrics. Bright meters are clear in both bright and dark environments, and included adhesive labels allow easy meter standard changes.

Machined Metal Design
The robust metal chassis minimizes vibrations and rattles, improving sound quality. The front panel includes audio level meters, an LCD video monitor, a headphone/speaker volume knob, and an illuminated keypad for selecting audio pairs, solo/mute, and input. A built-in headphone socket allows private monitoring.

Advanced 12G-SDI
Supports SD, HD, and Ultra HD video resolutions. The 12G-SDI input and HDMI 2.0 output enable Ultra HD monitoring up to 2160p60 over a single cable. Connect to UHD TVs or projectors via HDMI 4K and monitor any of the 16 audio channels on the 12G-SDI input.

SMPTE 2110 Network Connection
Connect directly to 2110 IP video systems. Supports 2110-20 uncompressed video, Blackmagic IP compressed UHD codec, 2110-21 traffic shaping/timing, 2110-20 audio, and 2110-40 ancillary data. NMOS interface support allows 2110 IP devices to function as a virtual router.

Audio and Video Connections
Includes analog XLR, digital AES/EBU, and HiFi audio inputs with front-panel input selection. 12G-SDI video input and HDMI 2.0 output support embedded audio and high-resolution video.

Monitoring
Convert SDI to HDMI for big-screen or projector monitoring. Automatically switches between SD, HD, and Ultra HD formats. HDMI output enables Ultra HD monitoring with a single cable.
