Designed for the film and television industry, the Ethernet Switch 360P from Blackmagic Design provides extremely high performance with low latency. It incorporates 16 fast 10G Ethernet ports and two high-speed 100G Ethernet QSFP sockets for copper cables or optical fiber modules. The front panel allows 2110 IP multicasting setup using familiar video routing without requiring a team of IT technicians. The front resembles a router with a control panel, buttons, display, and wheel, while the back functions as an Ethernet switch. Supports SMPTE 2110 video with 16x 10GbE and 2x 100GbE RJ45 ports on the rear for easier cable management. Ideal for fly-pack and small broadcast truck setups. Speed graphs and dynamic labels for connected 2110 devices are visible on the front screen for quick identification.
Connect Creative Groups and Build 2110 IP Systems
Use the Ethernet Switch 360P to create small 2110 IP systems for fly-pack kits or broadcast vans. Build ISO recording and replay solutions using the 10GbE ports, DaVinci Resolve workstations, and connect a Blackmagic Cloud Store Max via a 100GbE port. Remotely manage video equipment using the Ethernet rear connections.
High-Speed Ethernet Ports
Sixteen independent 10GbE ports with RJ45 connectors provide simple cable management and easy disconnection. Use these ports for HyperDeck ISO recorder arrays and DaVinci Resolve workstation connections. Two independent 100GbE ports offer extreme speed and can be used as a backbone between multiple Ethernet Switch 360P units. Connect a Blackmagic Cloud Store Max directly for large ISO recording/replay setups. Use short copper or long optical fiber QSFP modules to place switches at a distance.
Video Router Panel
Create self-contained 2110 IP systems without complex multicast setup. The front panel uses the same design as Blackmagic Videohub routers, featuring a machined metal spin knob, color LCD, and shortcut buttons. Scroll IP video sources and press the take button; multicast settings are configured automatically. Newly connected 2110 IP devices appear immediately, making the switch plug-and-play.
HDMI Monitoring Graphs
The HDMI output shows each Ethernet connection visually, including link speed, current data transfer rate, and live data graphs per port. This helps identify bandwidth issues or data stalls during multiple record streams. The monitor output also displays the switch’s custom name and connected 2110 IP device names.
