The Cloud Dock 2 is a compact 1 RU network storage appliance designed to share content from two 2.5 inch drives across high-speed Ethernet. It allows teams to mount and access files on SSDs or HDDs over 10GbE links or via Ethernet over USB-C. The unit provides a simple visual HDMI output for monitoring drive activity and status.
Drive support includes two hot-swap 2.5 inch SATA or U.2 SSDs or HDDs and compatibility with ExFAT and HFS+ file systems. The unit exposes two 10GbE RJ45 ports and a USB-C Gen 1 port that supports Ethernet over USB-C. It also supports cloud sync with Dropbox and Google Drive for distributed collaboration.
Performance is tailored for multi-user production environments where fast file transfer and low-latency connectivity are required. The Cloud Dock 2 consumes approximately 25 W without SSDs and accepts 100 to 240 VAC power. Operating conditions cover typical studio ranges from 32 to 104°F and tolerate up to 90 percent humidity.
Connectivity options include dual 10GbE RJ45 ports for direct network integration and a USB-C 3.0/3.1/3.2 Gen 1 port for Ethernet over USB-C. An HDMI output provides an on-device graphical view of drive activity. The device supports macOS 13 or later and Windows 10 64-bit or Windows 11 for management and file access.
Typical use cases include shared storage for edit bays, quick file distribution across postproduction networks, and cloud-enabled workflows that combine local drives with Dropbox or Google Drive sync. The compact 1 RU form factor and light weight make it suitable for both permanent rack installations and portable production kits.
Installation is straightforward and requires no specialized tools – drives are hot-swappable and the unit integrates into existing Ethernet infrastructure. The enclosure is designed for studio environments and provides a simple, tactile user experience for monitoring and drive replacement. Firmware and software setup use a QR code delivered in the welcome wallet for quick access to downloads.

Air shipments, Overnight, 2nd day and 3 day select methods offer guaranteed delivery time for your shipment. If you are in hurry or in need for the items on schedule, select one of these methods.
