The BD-MP4K is a 1U rackmount 4K UHD Blu-ray multimedia player designed to deliver reliable playback of discs and file-based media. It supports 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray, standard Blu-ray, DVD and CD as well as video, image and audio files from SD and USB media. The unit provides professional audio outputs and remote-control options suitable for fixed installations.
Playback features include Power On Play, seamless repeat modes, last memory resume, and a Hide Menu function to present a blank screen at boot or disc insertion. Lock functions include panel lock, IR lock and tray lock to prevent unintended operation. The player accepts a wide range of disc types and file formats including MKV, MP4, M2TS, WAV, FLAC and JPEG.
Audio performance supports sampling rates up to 192 kHz and 16/24-bit resolution for disc and external media. The analog section offers XLR balanced stereo outputs, unbalanced RCA stereo and discrete 7.1 RCA outputs, plus coaxial S/PDIF for digital formats. Measured performance meets professional expectations with low THD, high S/N ratio and wide dynamic range.
Connectivity includes HDMI 2.0 for 4K video output and an HDMI 1.4 AUDIO ONLY port, XLR and RCA analog outputs, coaxial digital output, USB 3.0 Type-A rear port, a front SDXC slot, RS-232C D-sub 9-pin and Gigabit Ethernet with SMB1/CIFS support for NAS playback. Remote control is provided via included wireless IR remote or network/RS-232 commands. HDMI signal modes include RGB and YCbCr at multiple chroma formats and standard resolutions up to 2160p.
The BD-MP4K is well suited for education, houses of worship, museums, retail digital signage and theater playback where unattended, repeatable media presentation is required. Its Power On Play and remote power control enable scheduled or automated playback workflows. The Hide Menu and lock features make it appropriate for public-facing installations where UI visibility and tampering must be minimized.
Installation and operation are straightforward with a 1U metal chassis and included rack-mount kit. Front SD and rear USB3.0 slots enable easy media access while network and RS-232 control integrate into AV control systems. The player is built for continuous use and offers rugged construction, standard AC power compatibility and stable playback behavior for professional installations.
