The BD-MP1MKII is a rackmount Blu-ray and media player designed to provide single-source playback of optical discs and removable media. It supports Blu-ray, DVD, and CD formats as well as file playback from USB flash memory and SD cards. The unit is engineered for installations that require reliable unattended playback and consistent output.
Key features include native Blu-ray disc support, front-panel USB and SD card slots, and a front tray for DVD and CD media. The player supports a broad set of file formats – video, audio, and still images – and offers Power-on Play and repeat options to automate playback sequences. Locking features for the panel, IR, and tray help protect playback settings.
Technical performance covers HDMI video output up to 1080p, stereo balanced XLR outputs, unbalanced RCA outputs, and 7.1 RCA outputs for multichannel analog systems. The unit supports high-resolution audio sampling rates up to 192 kHz and bit depths of 16/24 bit where applicable. Measured audio performance includes a frequency response of 20 Hz – 20 kHz and a signal-to-noise ratio of 96 dB or higher.
Connectivity includes HDMI 19-pin Type A output, coaxial S/PDIF digital output, XLR balanced stereo, RCA unbalanced stereo, and eight RCA jacks for 7.1 channel outputs. Control and integration are supported via RS-232C and Ethernet for remote control and automation. Two USB Type-A ports and an SD/SDHC/SDXC slot provide local media insertion and playback.
This player is suitable for a wide range of environments including public spaces, theaters, museums, retail displays, and corporate AV systems. It supports hide menu and resume functions to create a clean start-up display and maintain continuity during scheduled playback.
