The AVSC1102 is a 2-port secure analogue KVM switch designed to share a single keyboard monitor and mouse between classified and unclassified systems. It provides a hardened hardware approach to switching that prevents data leakage between connected systems. The unit also supports a shared smartcard reader for secure credential use across systems.
The switch enforces secured channel switching where selection is allowed only from the front panel controls and not by attached peripherals. It implements hardwired unidirectional data paths and power-down peripherals during channel changes to reduce the risk of hidden peripheral malware. Tamper resistant casing and limited writable memory further minimize attack surfaces.
Security certifications include Common Criteria EAL4+ and a TEMPEST qualified design that meets stringent emission and subversion standards. Video is analogue VGA up to 1920 x 1200 at 60Hz. The device minimizes software reliance by using one-time programmable storage in security-critical areas.
Connectivity includes two USB HID ports for keyboard and mouse, an HD-15 VGA connection for video, and a USB smartcard interface for secure reader sharing. Shielded link cables are available for system connections and the monitor to reduce signal emissions. The unit supports USB HID and PS/2 host platforms and a wide range of operating systems.
Typical applications include secure control of cross-domain workstations, military and government red/black network separation, and secure credentialing workflows using a shared smartcard. The compact form factor and robust shielding make it suitable for secure desktop and rack-top installations. It is intended for environments where physical and electronic isolation are required.
Installation is straightforward using the provided shielded link cables and standard power input. Air shipments, Overnight, 2nd day and 3 day select methods offer guaranteed delivery time for your shipment. If you are in hurry or in need for the items on schedule, select one of these methods.
