The ADDERView Matrix C110 is a ZeroU HDMI Computer Access Module designed to connect a single computer to an ADDERView KVM matrix – enabling extension of video, audio and USB over a single network cable. It provides pixel-accurate HDMI video at high resolutions while occupying no rack space in the server room. The CAM is USB powered and supports optional external power for redundancy.
Key features include spatially-lossless video encoding with 1:1 pixel mapping to preserve color accuracy and eliminate compression artifacts. The module supports up to 2560 x 1600 at 60Hz and 8 bpc color depth, and handles dithered or noisy video sources used by some platforms. USB 2.0 True Emulation supports human interface devices and mass storage while allowing device-type control.
On the audio side the device provides digital two-channel linear PCM and delivers USB stereo audio bi-directionally or embedded stereo audio uni-directionally. EDID management is available to either pass the true monitor characteristics back to the host or present a fixed EDID to the computer. Network bandwidth is 1GbE and the recommended cabling is CAT5e or above with a maximum cable length of 100m / 328ft.
Connectivity includes one HDMI video input, two USB A ports with True Emulation, a single RJ45 link port and USB audio support via one USB input. The CAM supports all known operating systems and does not require drivers or software installation – plug and play operation is standard. System limitations include no support for HDCP or CEC control.
Typical applications include control rooms, command centres and broadcast facilities where remote access to single-workstation systems is required. The device integrates with matrixed KVM infrastructures to centralize access while maintaining color fidelity and input device responsiveness. Its low power draw and USB-power capability reduce cabling and simplify deployments where local power outlets are limited.
Installation is straightforward due to the ZeroU form factor and fanless design, reducing maintenance and airflow concerns in equipment racks. The unit is constructed from ABS and aluminum for a lightweight but durable build and is specified for operation from 0 to 50 C with non-condensing humidity up to 90%. Regulatory approvals include CE, FCC, cULus and other regional standards to support professional AV installations.
