The Atlona AT-PS-POE is a 48 VDC mid-span power injector that provides remote Power over Ethernet to HDBaseT endpoint devices using the IEEE 802.3af standard. It inserts directly in an HDBaseT transmission line to deliver power to either or both endpoint devices located at the transmitter or receiver. The unit is housed in a compact low-profile enclosure suitable for placement in confined or public spaces.
The PS-POE features independent power switches for incoming and outgoing lines so installers can selectively route power upstream, downstream, or to both directions simultaneously. This selective switching prevents inadvertent powering of non-powered equipment and reduces the need for multiple injectors. The design saves equipment and labor costs by centralizing PoE delivery in a single mid-span device.
On the signal side the PS-POE supports 10.2 Gbps bandwidth allowing 4K/UHD resolutions, multi-channel audio formats, HDCP 2.2, and full 3D pass-through. Bandwidth and protocol support maintain signal integrity for modern AV sources and displays across HDBaseT runs. The injector maintains compatibility with advanced video and audio formats common in professional and commercial AV systems.
Connectivity and interoperability are straightforward – the injector works with Atlona HDBaseT endpoint devices as well as HDBaseT-enabled third-party receivers, displays, and projectors that require IEEE 802.3af power. It also serves as a migration tool to integrate newer UHD-EX Series receivers into PRO2HD Series and HD-CAT Series systems. This compatibility helps extend the life and ROI of existing HDBaseT installations when adding or upgrading endpoints.
Typical applications include powering ceiling-mounted projectors, HDBaseT displays, remote receivers, and point-of-use devices where local AC power is impractical. The compact chassis allows discreet installation above ceilings, behind equipment racks, or in conduit runs close to the cable path. The selective power control minimizes service interruptions during maintenance or device changes.
Installation is plug-and-play in HDBaseT transmission lines and does not require complex configuration. Air shipments, Overnight, 2nd day and 3 day select methods offer guaranteed delivery time for your shipment. If you are in hurry or in need for the items on schedule, select one of these methods. Most items ordered from AVProSupply will be shipped out from our California Warehouse. Will-Calls are only allowed with Appointment Only - Please call Customer Service to set one up between the hours of 9am to 6pm PST.
