The AT-PRO2HD88M-b is an 8×8 HDBaseT HDMI matrix switcher designed to distribute up to eight HDMI sources to eight HDBaseT-equipped displays. It extends HDMI and DVI signals over CAT5e/6/7 cabling up to 100 meters (328ft) and supports resolutions up to 1080p and VESA up to 1920×1200. The unit maintains HD audio formats and delivers stable signal distribution for multiroom AV systems.
Key features include HDBaseT transmission, 8 HDMI inputs, eight CAT outputs, stereo audio embedding, and support for Lossy and Lossless Dolby and DTS formats. The matrix supports 3D, RGB and YCbCr colorspaces, and color depths up to 12-bit which preserves image fidelity for compatible displays. It also provides bidirectional control via RS-232 and IR for integrated device management.
Performance specifications include a 6.75 Gbps bandwidth, HDCP compliance, and a fan noise rating of 18 dBA for quiet operation. Supported video formats include 480i/p through 1080p at common frame rates and VESA modes to 1920×1200. Audio support spans PCM, LPCM 5.1/7.1 and advanced codecs such as Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio with sample rates up to 192 kHz.
Connectivity covers eight HDMI inputs, eight CAT5e/6/7 outputs, RS-232 control, nine IR ports and stereo audio inputs for embedding. A USB-B port is provided for firmware updates and the matrix is compatible with third-party control systems and Atlona IR accessories. The unit also offers eight programmable presets for rapid recall of common routing configurations.
This matrix is well suited to applications in corporate boardrooms, education facilities, hospitality venues and digital signage where centralized source distribution and control are required. It supports complex AV layouts where multiple sources must be delivered to multiple zones over structured cabling.
