The Atlona AT-HDR-EX-70C-RX is a compact HDBaseT receiver designed to extend 4K HDR signals to remote displays. It receives HDMI video, multi-channel audio, control signals, and power over Category cable from compatible transmitters. The unit supports modern HDR formats and preserves full chroma and color depth for critical image quality.
Key features include support for 4K/UHD at 60 Hz with 4:4:4 chroma sampling and HDR compatibility with HDR10, HLG, and Dolby Vision. The receiver uses visually lossless compression with negligible latency to maintain sync and image fidelity. It also passes multi-channel audio and is compliant with HDCP 2.2 for protected content.
Performance specifications include a 600 MHz pixel clock and support for 8-bit, 10-bit, and 12-bit color depths. The AT-HDR-EX-70C-RX supports common resolutions up to 4096×2160 at 60 Hz and a wide range of VESA modes. Extension distances reach up to 130 ft (40 m) for 4K HDR over Cat6/6A/7 and up to 230 ft (70 m) for 1080p depending on cable type.
Connectivity consists of a single HDMI output, an HDBaseT RJ45 input, a mini-A USB port for firmware updates, and captive screw connectors for RS-232 and IR. The unit passes bidirectional RS-232, IR, and CEC control over HDBaseT for integrated control system compatibility. Front-panel LEDs provide power and link status for simple troubleshooting.
This receiver is suitable for boardrooms, classrooms, digital signage, and AV distribution systems where remote displays require full-resolution HDR video. It pairs with Atlona distribution amplifiers such as AT-HDR-CAT-2, AT-HDR-CAT-4, and AT-HDR-CAT-8 to distribute 4K HDR content across a venue.
