The AT-HDR-EX-70C-KIT is an HDBaseT HDMI extender kit that transports HDMI video and control signals over category cable. It extends high dynamic range (HDR) and 4K/UHD signals while maintaining HDCP 2.2 compliance. The kit includes a transmitter and receiver designed for concealed or surface installation and remote powering of the receiver via PoE.
This extender kit supports 4K/UHD at 60 Hz with 4:4:4 chroma sampling and HDMI bandwidth up to 18 Gbps. It passes HDR metadata for HDR10 at 60 Hz and Dolby Vision at 30 Hz while supporting the HDMI 2.0b feature set. The solution uses visually lossless compression with no latency to preserve image quality for demanding video sources and displays.
Performance is optimized for real-world installs: over CAT6a/7 cable the system supports 4K HDR to 130 feet (40 meters) and 1080p to 230 feet (70 meters), while over CAT5e/6 the limits are reduced accordingly. Multi-channel audio formats including Dolby Atmos and DTS:X are supported along with PCM up to 24-bit and sample rates to 192 kHz. The system is HDCP 2.2 compliant and supports CEC signaling.
Connectivity includes HDMI input and output ports, a single HDBaseT RJ-45 link, bidirectional IR and RS-232 control extension, and remote PoE power for the receiver. The transmitter offers a test button and LED indicators for HDBaseT link diagnostics and a free software utility provides detailed link status information. The kit supports common control workflows and simplifies cabling between source, control system, and display.
The HDR-EX-70C-KIT is appropriate for residential home-theater installs, digital signage, classrooms, and conference room systems that require long cable runs and HDR/4K capability. It supports a wide range of displays and sources that conform to HDMI 2.0b and HDCP 2.2. The low-latency transfer and retained color fidelity make it suitable for critical video applications.
