The AT-HDR-EX-70-2PS is an HDBaseT HDMI extender kit designed to transmit 4K HDR video and multi-channel audio over category cable. It extends HDMI signals with visually lossless compression and no latency to support modern HDR sources and displays. The kit includes both transmitter and receiver endpoints and external power supplies for each unit.
This extender supports 4K/UHD at 60 Hz with 4:4:4 chroma sampling and HDR formats enabled in HDMI 2.0a. It is HDCP 2.2 compliant and passes metadata required for HDR10 and similar formats. The product delivers HDMI data rates up to 18 Gbps using light compression for pristine image quality.
The HDR-EX-70-2PS provides extension distances to 130ft (40m) for 4K HDR over CAT6a/7 and up to 230ft (70m) for 1080p over CAT6a/7. Supported video color depths include 8-bit, 10-bit, and 12-bit and chroma sampling modes 4:4:4, 4:2:2, and 4:2:0. Multi-channel audio formats such as PCM, Dolby Digital, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Atmos, DTS-HD Master Audio, and DTS:X are supported alongside high sample rates to preserve fidelity.
Connectivity is role-focused with rear panel HDMI and HDBaseT ports for tidy installations and easy wire management. The units include front panel USB for firmware updates and LEDs for power and link status to streamline setup and troubleshooting. The low-profile 1 inch quarter rack-width enclosure and supplied surface mounting brackets permit discreet mounting in racks or confined locations.
