HDBaseT DVI transmitters are engineered especially for high-resolution, HDMI-
compatible electronics with DVI connectors. This DVI extender uses the advanced
technology of HDBaseT combined with power over category cable (PoCc&153;) to extend
signals to an unprecedented 328 feet (100 meters) over a single category cable, with
Ethernet, RS-232, and IR control capability.

boxes feature DVI connectors instead of HDMI connectors, to take advantage of the
connector retention screws demanded by many applications. Ideal for electronics used
in sensitive medical applications, when a compromised signal could be catastrophic.
These boxes also utilize HDMI electronics so they are fully capable of transmitting
embedded audio if supported by both source and display.
