HDBaseT DVI receivers are engineered especially for high-resolution, HDMI-compatible
electronics with DVI connectors. This DVI receiver uses the advanced technology of
HDBaseT combined with power over category cable (PoCc&153;) for power and signal at
an unprecedented 328 feet (100 meters) over a single category cable, with Ethernet,
RS-232, and IR control capability.

Atlona HDBaseT DVI RX boxes feature DVI
connectors instead of HDMI connectors to take advantage of the connector retention
screws demanded by many applications. Ideal for electronics used in sensitive
medical applications, when a compromised signal could be catastrophic. These boxes
also utilize HDMI electronics so they are fully capable of transmitting embedded
audio if supported by both source and display.
