The Atlona AT-CAP-FC110 Captivate is an enterprise-grade ePTZ conference camera designed to deliver clear video and integrated audio for huddle rooms and small to medium meeting spaces. It provides single-cable operation via USB-C for video, audio, and device power. The camera supports resolutions up to 4K@30Hz and adaptive framing to improve remote participant engagement.
Key capabilities include fast electronic pan, tilt, and zoom controls and automatic framing that detects and recenters up to six participants. The lens offers a wide 110 deg horizontal field of view and a 4x digital zoom, with zoom fixed to 1x when outputting 4K. Imaging features include auto exposure, backlight compensation, auto white balance, and fast autofocus to maintain clear subject detail.
Technical performance covers multiple video formats and frame rates over USB 2.0 and USB 3.0, including MJPEG, H.264/265, YUY2, and NV12. The sensor is a 1/2.8″ CMOS with 8.42 MP effective pixels and F2.2 aperture to support accurate color and clarity. Video output supports 3840×2160@30Hz and 1920×1080@30/25Hz, with 1080p available when using ePTZ or auto-framing modes.
Connectivity is simplified with a single USB-C 3.0 port and UVC 1.1 compatibility for plug-and-play operation on Windows and Mac systems. The camera is compatible with major conferencing platforms including Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Webex, and Google Meet. Additional control is available via the included IR remote and on-screen display, and USB camera control is supported by compatible applications such as Zoom Rooms.
Typical applications include huddle rooms, small meeting rooms, and BYOM environments where compact installation and automated framing improve meeting flow. The 2-microphone array provides an approximate 5 m audio pickup range to capture participant voices without a separate mic. Compatibility with Barco ClickShare Conference and Omega Series AV systems further extends deployment options.
Installation and use are straightforward thanks to an adjustable mounting clip for displays, 1/4-20 UNC tripod compatibility, and support for wall mounting with third-party hardware. The package includes an IR remote and a 1.8 m USB-C to USB-A cable to cover common AV setups.
