The Atlona AT-AVA-EX100CE-BP-KIT is a compact HDBaseT transmitter and receiver kit designed to extend HDMI video and embedded audio over a single CAT cable. It transmits 4K/UHD video signals and supports Ethernet, RS-232, IR, and bidirectional remote power. The kit pairs a small-footprint transmitter and receiver that can be mounted behind displays or inside furniture for discreet installations.
The kit extends HDMI signals up to 330 ft (100 m) over CAT6A/7 infrastructure and supports multiple 4K color subsampling formats for compatibility with a wide range of sources and displays. It includes EDID filtering and HDMI clock stretching to improve interoperability with legacy and low-quality HDMI sources. An integrated HDBaseT link test helps verify cable integrity and terminations during installation.
Performance supports 4K/UHD @60Hz 4:2:0 8bit, 4K/UHD @30Hz 4:4:4 8bit, and 4K/UHD @30Hz 4:2:2 10bit video formats. Audio handling includes embedded multi-channel streams and compatibility with PCM, Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Atmos, DTS 5.1, DTS-HD Master Audio, and DTS:X. The system carries 100Base-T Ethernet and provides reliable control pass-through for RS-232 and IR commands.
Connectivity includes HDMI connections with ARC support to simplify audio return workflows and reduce cabling requirements. The single CAT connection between endpoints carries video, audio, Ethernet, control signals, and remote power, eliminating separate runs for each function. The HDMI ports are compatible with locking HDMI connectors to secure cable connections in professional environments.
Typical applications include conference rooms where laptop or room PC content is sent to a front-of-room display, classrooms transmitting instructor content to projectors or panels, and residential installations requiring remote TV extension at 4K resolutions. The kit supports AV system designs that require centralized source placement or remote powering at the display. It is suitable for installations that demand minimal visible hardware and clean cable runs.
Installation is simplified by the compact 1 inch high, quarter rack-width enclosures and included surface-mount brackets that allow mounting in furniture or behind displays. Air shipments, Overnight, 2nd day and 3 day select methods offer guaranteed delivery time for your shipment. If you are in hurry or in need for the items on schedule, select one of these methods.
