The AMP-260-DNT is a two or four channel network amplifier that combines Dante audio networking and local line-level inputs to deliver distributed audio in professional AV installations. It provides onboard DSP, independent channel control, and flexible power options to suit a range of system architectures. The unit is designed to integrate cleanly into networked audio environments while maintaining simple local control.
Key features include dual Dante inputs and outputs plus a local line input and line output to support hybrid audio workflows. The amplifier offers independent volume and mute control per channel and automatic IO detection that mutes the amp during paging events to prevent audio conflicts. Onboard DSP provides gain control, a limiter, a five-band EQ and up to 200ms delay to shape sound for room acoustics.
Audio performance supports stereo or 2-channel PCM formats and delivers outputs via low-impedance speaker terminals plus line-level loop-out for daisy-chaining amplifiers. The DSP controls allow per-channel gain adjustment, a configurable limiter and up to 200ms of delay to align audio across zones. Audio routing and channel assignment are managed over the network via Dante or locally via the line input.
Connectivity includes two RJ45 LAN ports with 10/100Base-T and PoE+ 802.3at support, Dante network inputs and outputs, one line-level input and output, and low-impedance speaker outputs. The amplifier supports CA SB-327 compliant secure web UI login and TLS/HTTPS security protocols for remote management. Front panel volume buttons and LED status indicators provide straightforward local operation and monitoring.
Typical applications include medium to large meeting rooms, lecture halls and distributed audio zones where networked audio and local source support are both required. The AMP-260-DNT is suitable for paging-aware installations and can be daisy-chained to expand system coverage while maintaining centralized Dante routing. Its combination of networked inputs and local IO simplifies integration with mixers, DSPs and control systems.
Installation is simplified by dual power options – PoE+ or a 24V DC 5A supply – and compact mounting options for rack or ceiling placement.
