The ALIF1104T-US is an IP KVM transmitter designed to separate critical computing hardware from the user workstation while preserving a pixel-perfect desktop experience. It relocates servers and workstations into secure temperature-controlled environments – maintaining full digital video, audio, and USB 2.0 control. The transmitter delivers a single HDMI video channel over a standard 1GbE network link for remote desktop access.
The unit uses a spatially-lossless encoding approach with 1:1 pixel mapping to ensure color-accurate output and artifact-free images. It supports up to 2560 x 1600 at 60 Hz and 8 bpc color depth for detailed graphical fidelity. USB 2.0 true emulation provides support for HID devices, graphics tablets, jog shuttles, and mass storage where permitted.
Performance characteristics include a 1GbE network interface and optional SFP slots for fiber links enabling unlimited extension distances via standard network switches and fiber transceivers. The transmitter supports EDID management and digital audio delivery alongside analog audio I/O. Redundant network operation and teaming provide resilience for mission-critical installations.
Connectivity covers one HDMI output, one USB B high-speed port, one USB A port for device emulation, one RJ45 8p8c port, and one SFP cage for fiber modules. Analog 3.5mm audio I/O is bi-directional via USB audio while audio over the digital video connector is uni-directional. RS232 serial data can be carried via serial-to-USB converters for control and legacy device integration.
Typical applications include broadcast control rooms, secure server rooms, industrial HMI stations, and live production environments where remote access to a pixel-perfect desktop is required. The ability to scale into an ADDERLink INFINITY Matrix using AIM enables large distributed KVM architectures. The system supports touch screens and dithered video for specific workflow requirements.
