The ALDV120R is the receiver unit of a compact digital DVI extender system designed to deliver pixel perfect video over a single CATx cable. It receives an uncompressed DVI-D stream and reproduces the exact content shown at the source display. The receiver supports high clarity up to WUXGA 1920×1200 at 60Hz and 24bit color depth.
Key features include pixel perfect digital video, EDID management, and USB power harvesting to eliminate the need for external power bricks. The system transmits video and power over a single CATx link to reduce cabling and installation complexity. Distances of up to 50m are achievable using recommended shielded cabling.
Performance specifications include uncompressed video with zero loss of data for resolutions up to 1920×1200@60Hz and 24bit color. The extender supports common progressive resolutions including 480p, 720p and 1080p plus WUXGA. Cable type, shielded category and number of patch connections directly affect achievable distance and signal integrity.
Connectivity on the receiver is a DVI-D male output and the unit is USB powered using a standard USB Type A port for energy efficient operation. The transmitter side requires a DVI-D connection to the source and a USB Type A for power harvesting. Recommended cabling is shielded CAT6a or CAT7 to maintain EMC compliance and to maximize extension distance.
Typical applications include digital signage installations, broadcast and control room displays, and secure media playback where the source needs to be located away from the display. The compact dongle form factor allows discreet installation at the display point while the source remains in a controlled environment. EDID management ensures the remote system mirrors the original display timing and characteristics.
Installation is plug and play with zero configuration required and no driver installation needed. The injection molded ABS enclosure and robust connectors suit repeated connections and typical AV environments. The receiver provides a simple, low-power solution to extend DVI-D video where pixel integrity and reliable EDID handling are required.

Air shipments, Overnight, 2nd day and 3 day select methods offer guaranteed delivery time for your shipment. If you are in hurry or in need for the items on schedule, select one of these methods.
