The WS in-wall mount is an adapter designed to provide a nearly flush installation for Beam series soundbars while preserving access and operation. It conceals the soundbar behind an acoustic grille that remains removable for service or adjustments. This solution focuses on clean aesthetics and unobtrusive integration into finished walls.
Key features include a low-profile on-wall grille measuring 7.6mm 0.3in thickness and a magnetically attached acoustic and IR transparent fabric grille. The wall adapter includes knockouts to accept US and UK electrical backboxes and receptacles to simplify in-wall connectivity. The adapter is engineered to support high fidelity audio output for accurate sound reproduction.
Technical specifications include overall dimensions of 1016mm width by 203.2mm height by 157.7mm depth and a product weight of 4.3Kg 9.5lbs. The enclosure is manufactured from moisture resistant MDF compliant with TSCA Title VI to provide stable acoustic mounting. Wallboard thickness for installation may range from 9.1mm 0.36in up to 18.4mm 0.72in to accommodate common wall constructions.
Connectivity and compatibility are addressed through built-in knockouts for US Hubbell Racobox 420 style backboxes and UK BS4662 2 Gang style backboxes or equivalents. An alternative European backbox option is referenced as model 085-1-347-EBL/EWH for EU installations. The adapter is specifically designed to accept Beam soundbars while leaving front-panel controls and IR functionality accessible through the grille fabric.
