It positions the keypad flush with the finished wall surface while preserving access for maintenance and service. The adapter includes a depth calibration mechanism and a removable spacer to accommodate a broad range of board thicknesses. With the spacer installed the adapter supports wall thicknesses from 7.78mm to 21.2mm and without the spacer it supports 19.38mm to 32.8mm. This flexibility simplifies site work and reduces the need for custom framing or rework.
Physical specifications are compact and installation-ready, with a face dimension of 150.2mm by 150.2mm and an overall depth of 41.1mm. The unit is constructed from moisture resistant MDF compliant with TSCA Title VI for safe interior use. Total shipped weight is approximately 0.4Kg which aids handling during install and transport.
Connectivity and compatibility are mechanical in nature – the adapter is designed to accept a compatible 2G keypad and provides a keyed mounting frame plus screws and nuts to secure the device.
