The Solid Surface Mount adapter is designed to accept low-voltage Horizon faceplates and related modules in solid board walls. It provides a secure flush installation while maintaining access for service and module replacement. The unit is intended for low voltage use only and does not include faceplate or devices.
The adapter features an easy insertion and removal mechanism that keeps the faceplate firm while allowing rapid access for maintenance. It includes a depth calibration mechanism and a spacer to accommodate a range of board thicknesses. The mount presents a flush finish at the wall surface for a clean installation aesthetic.
Technical details include a moisture resistant MDF construction and compact external dimensions of 156.8mm by 152.8mm by 39.5mm. The adapter is a manual device and requires no power supply. Weight is approximately 1.1lbs which makes it simple to handle during installation.
Connectivity and compatibility are straightforward – the adapter is made specifically for low-voltage Horizon style faceplates and panels. It is not compatible with line-voltage devices and must be installed in low-voltage installations only. A routing template can be used as a spacer during installation to ensure correct alignment.
