The WS SB adapter provides a flush solid surface mounting solution for C4 LUX 4-gang faceplates and C4-L-XX devices. It is designed to sit level with solid surface walls while allowing secure retention of the faceplate. The adapter supports easy insertion, removal and normal operation of installed devices.
Key features include a depth calibration mechanism and removable spacer that accommodate a range of solid surface thicknesses. The mount is suitable for installation in any orientation and holds the faceplate firmly while preserving access to device controls. The product is manual and does not require an external power supply.
Physical characteristics are compact and precise – overall dimensions are 248.2mm x 155.3mm x 43.5mm and the unit weighs 0.45Kg 0.99lbs. Material selection is moisture resistant MDF compliant with TSCA Title VI which provides dimensional stability in finished wall conditions. The depth calibration allows installation in solid surface boards from 4.78 [0.19″] up to 33.66 [1.33″] thickness.
The adapter is purpose-built for use with the C4 LUX 4-gang faceplate and C4-L-XX devices and preserves the manufacturer’s mounting geometry. While the faceplate and C4-L-XX devices are not included, the adapter maintains compatibility and alignment for retrofit or new construction projects. The adapter facilitates neat cable routing and device access when combined with compatible C4 components.
Typical applications include residential and commercial AV installations where a flush solid surface finish is required.
