The WS NC wall adapter is a flush wall mounting adapter designed to secure Apple iPad Pro 12.9 5th and 6th generation and iPad Air 13 M2 devices. It mounts the tablet recessed into the wall to create a clean, integrated installation that preserves device access and operation. The adapter is supplied unpainted and is intended to be painted as part of the wall finish.
Key features include a 1.4 mm recessed fit depth and a depth calibration mechanism to ensure precise placement. The adapter accepts the iPad in any orientation and allows simple insertion and removal for maintenance or replacement. The wall mount does not include audio grills, maintaining a minimal visible profile.
Technical details include full compatibility with IEEE 802.3at POE+ via CAT5/6 and an onboard POE to USB converter for device charging. The adapter dimensions are 405 mm x 304.8 mm x 38.8 mm and the unit weight is 1.7 kg. Materials are moisture resistant MDF compliant with TSCA Title VI.
Connectivity is charging-only in the standard model; an alternate SKU (002-1-371E-NG) supports Ethernet if network passthrough is required. The installer must provide a POE+ source capable of supplying up to 25.5W and an RJ45/CAT5 or CAT6 cable to the wall mount. For concrete or block walls, a separate concrete box P/N 100-1-683 is required and installation instructions are provided by the manufacturer.
Typical applications include fixed installations in lobbies, meeting spaces, retail displays, and controlled environments where a recessed tablet is required. The low-profile design keeps the iPad secure while allowing full touch operation and simple removal for service. The absence of grills and paintable finish lets the adapter blend with various interior finishes.
Installation follows standard 1/2″ drywall construction procedures and is straightforward for trained installers. For installations in 5/8″ drywall, a 1/8″ shim pack P/N 10-01-067 is recommended. The mounting kit contains one wall adapter and is shipped unpainted to be finished on-site.
