Description
The WS NC recessed wall adapter provides a flush in-wall mounting solution for iPad Air 4th and 5th generation, iPad Pro 3rd and 4th generation and iPad Air 11 M2. It secures the tablet while keeping the display recessed 1.4mm into the wall surface to preserve a near-flat finish. The unit is supplied unpainted so it can be finished as part of the surrounding wall.
The adapter includes an integrated POE to USB power converter to supply the iPad via CAT5/6 and RJ45 from an IEEE 802.3at POE+ source. The mount features an adjustable depth calibration mechanism and audio grills integrated into the faceplate. The design permits mounting in any orientation and allows easy insertion and removal of the tablet for service.
Key technical details include overall dimensions of 372mm x 266.7mm x 38.9mm and a recessed depth of 1.4mm. The mount supports up to 25.5W POE input as recommended for POE+ IEEE 802.3at systems. The adapter weight is 1.3kg and it is manufactured from moisture resistant MDF compliant with TSCA Title VI.
Connectivity is provided via the integrated POE to USB converter – installers must connect a CAT5/6 cable to an IEEE 802.3at POE+ source using an RJ45 connector. Standard mounts are supplied with charging only; an alternate SKU is available for Ethernet pass-through functionality. Concrete or block wall installs require the optional CONCRETE BOX 373X268 P/N 100-1-682.
The recessed adapter is suitable for residential, hospitality, and commercial touch control installations where a low-profile tablet mount is required. Typical applications include wall-mounted control panels, room scheduling, digital signage controllers and integrated home automation interfaces. The paintable faceplate and near-flush profile help maintain a clean, architectural aesthetic.
Installation follows standard drywall practices and is designed for 1/2in drywall – a 1/8in shim pack P/N 10-01-067 is available for 5/8in drywall installations. The adapter ships unpainted to be finished on site and includes features such as depth calibration and audio grills to simplify final setup. The construction and materials provide a stable mounting platform while allowing straightforward access for maintenance.
